How Mimaki collects, processes, and protects personal information from website visitors, enquiry submissions, newsletter subscribers, and colour-lab sample intakes.
Information you provide through enquiry forms, sample-intake submissions, and newsletter sign-ups — typically your name, company, business email, phone, region, platform of interest, and any job description you choose to include. Artwork you attach for sample printing is treated as confidential unless you instruct otherwise.
We use a small number of analytics cookies to understand which product pages, resources, and colour-lab tracks draw the most interest. Analytics cookies are aggregated and do not identify individual visitors. You may decline non-essential cookies via your browser settings or regional cookie banner.
We process personal information under one of the following legal bases, depending on jurisdiction: your consent (newsletters, demo requests), performance of a contract (sample prints, platform evaluations), or our legitimate interest (responding to an enquiry you initiated).
Enquiry records are retained for the duration of an active conversation plus a reasonable follow-up window. Substrate intake photos and spectrophotometer readings are retained as part of the Profile Library record. You may request deletion at any time — see section 7.
We do not sell personal information. We share limited data with authorised regional distributors, logistics providers for sample-return shipments, and certified training partners — each bound by confidentiality obligations consistent with this policy.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal information we hold on you, correct inaccurate records, request deletion, restrict processing, or receive a structured copy for portability. Submit rights requests via the Contact Us page — responses are issued within the statutory window for your jurisdiction.
We apply appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to the information we hold. No digital system is absolutely immune to compromise; we will notify affected individuals and regulators as required by applicable law in the event of a personal-data incident.
Because Mimaki operates colour labs on multiple continents, personal information may be transferred across regions. Transfers between Mimaki entities are governed by internal data-transfer agreements consistent with applicable law.
Privacy enquiries, rights requests, and concerns should be directed through the Contact Us page. Regional data-protection officers respond within the statutory window for your jurisdiction.
